Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Maayam, we aim to offer a fair and transparent return and refund experience. Please read the policy carefully before initiating a request.

Returns Eligibility

  • Products can be returned or replaced within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Returns are accepted only for:

    • Manufacturing defects

    • Damage during transit

    • Incorrect product received

Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in original packaging.

Non-Returnable Conditions

  • Natural variations in handmade products are not considered defects.

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling are not eligible.

  • Items purchased using affiliate or special discounts follow the policy shared at the time of voucher redemption.

Exchange Policy

  • We do not offer direct exchanges.

  • Customers may initiate a return and place a fresh order separately.

Return Pick-Up Process

To request a return:

  • Submit a request via the website, email info@maayam.in, or WhatsApp.

  • Share your order number, images of the product, and reason for return.

  • Ensure the product is securely packed and in original condition.

A basic quality check will be done during pickup. If the product fails the check, the pickup may be refused.

Return pickups are generally scheduled within 4 business days.

Refund Process

  • Returns are processed within 10 business days after approval.

  • Refunds are initiated only after the returned item is received and passes quality checks.

Prepaid Orders

  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method.

  • Banks may take 4–5 business days to reflect the amount.

COD Orders

  • Refunds are issued via store credits or bank transfer.

  • Bank refunds take 7–8 business days.

  • Cash refunds are not permitted.

  • Refunds cannot be issued to third-party bank accounts.

Refunds are not applicable if self-shipped items are lost in transit.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 6 hours of placement by emailing us.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped.

  • Refunds are not applicable for refusal at delivery or after multiple failed delivery attempts.

Important Notes

  • Refunds are processed only after physical receipt of returned items.

  • Please record an unboxing video to claim missing or damaged items.

  • Policies are subject to change without prior notice.
